Yes! Classes are friendly and relaxed and designed so that you can learn at your own pace. My teaching covers basic principles to more complex ideas so you focus on what suits your current level.

Yes! Classes are varied in content and should provide you with ample opportunities to learn and explore in a way that satisfies your needs.

I teach yang style tai chi, and mainly shibashi qigong, although I also draw in elements of other qigong practices – such as zhineng qigong. I’m an accredited teacher with two international organisations. See more about my background here.

Wear comfortable loose clothing and flat shoes. You don’t need a yoga mat or any other equipment, but you may like to bring a water bottle.

No, you don’t need to book or pay in advance for classes. Classes are continuously running and are pay-as-you-go. Please note that the class needs to be paid for in cash – I don’t have eftpos facilities. I do also run occasional workshops/courses through the year that do need to be booked- notification of these will be on the website or through my newsletter, or you can register your interest here.

Tai Chi and qigong are suitable for most medical conditions – they are slow and focus on controlled movements, and each person is encouraged to work at their own pace and within their current limits. You can sit down at any point during the class if you feel you need to rest.

Please advise me of any issues or medical conditions at the start of the class, particularly if you have any of the following medical conditions: a heart condition, MS, Fibromyalgia, a back or limb injury, Arthritis, Asthma (if severe), or if you have previously had a Stroke.

Yes – I’m an accredited ACC provider with their Live Stronger for Longer programme.
