Tai Chi 10
- Commencing Form: Stand with feet together, relax, and slowly raise and lower the arms to centre your energy.
- Repulse the Monkey: Step backward while gently pushing the hands forward in a continuous, alternating flow.
- Brush Knee and Push: Step forward, sweeping one hand past the knee while pushing the palm of the other hand forward.
- Part the Wild Horse’s Mane: Step diagonally while “holding a ball,” then extend one arm up and the other down to mimic a horse’s mane.
- Wave Hands Like Clouds (Cloud Hands): Shift weight from side to side while stepping and gently crossing your hands in front of your face and waist.
- Golden Cockerel Stands on One Leg: Raise one knee while pushing the opposite palm up and the corresponding hand down.
- Kick with Heel: Shift your weight, raise the knee, and extend your heel outward in a controlled, slow kick.
- Grasp Bird’sTail: A four-part defensive sequence involving ward off, roll back, press, and push.
- Cross Hands: Cross your arms in front of your chest to create an embracing shape.
- Closing Form: Return to the starting position with deep breaths, bringing your energy down to your centre.
